rockchick80
May seem like a silly question but does anyone know if you have to take your own towels when going to stay in self catering apartments abroad? Cant remember if they have provided them in the past as its a couple of years since I went abroad!!! Thanks xXx

Tess
You may need to take beach towels but they should include normal bath towels.
Rupert_Baehr
Why not ask the apartment manager what is provided and what you need to bring? It would also be a good idea to find out whether there are any additional charges. If you take a Ferienwohnung (holiday apartment) around here, the prices are very reasonable and everything you need to occupy the apartment (apart from tea, coffee, food etc) is provided. Towels and bed linen are provided (and laundered FOC weekly. Most FeWos have a washer and dryer which you can use.) You are, however, renting a furnished apartment. You would (presumably) clean your own home and you are expected to return the apartment in the same (cleaned) state as it was in when you arrived. If you don't do the house cleaning, you will be billed for it.
