Oliver Plum
Hi, Would anybody with knowledge of Sheffield knife manufacturers pre 1900 know anything about MARB est V/EB + co SHEFFIELD .There is a logo above this information with the words TRUSTWORTHY and above that a single letter M . There is a possibility that this knife in the form of a hilted dagger 12 1/2 inches long was exported to USA. I am at present researching family history and believe it was worn by an actor relative during the American civil war 1866 . It could of course have been made well before this date.
