taxman
Where is he? Since the local council elections and the alternative vote referendum he seems to have been a bit quiet. Health reform is in the news but I didn't see him on the television news explaining it. We've got looming industrial action by public sector workers but it was left to Danny Alexander to put his foot in it. High inflation, low growth, Libya, Greece, prison reform etc etc Prior to the elections he was everywhere, hand in hand with Dave, taking a lead role in many policy decisions but he just seems to have drifted into the background now. Is he on holiday?
clownaround
He wont hide for long as "new fathers 4 justice" are on his case just like we went to see Ken Clarke on Fathers day !!!

What's he done to risk the wrath of the Batman and Robin brigade?
taxman
Hurrah, he's back in the news again with a plan to give us all shares in the nationalised banks. He's in Brazil, hence his recent low profile.
Grandad.Malky
He's in Brazil, hence his recent low profile. Is that a bit like being sent to “Coventry?”
NorthernStar
I'd just assumed he was just letting Dave do the talking.
alchresearch
You'd think he'd be gloating over this: Ed Miliband 'more unpopular than Nick Clegg' http://news.scotsman.com/politics/Ed-Miliband-39more-unpopular-than.6788490.jp
Longcol
Clegg has obviously been working on this; http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2011/jun/23/nick-clegg-banks-public-shares The public to be given shares in the bailed out banks. Whether it will actually happen is I suppose up to Cameron and Osborne. Edit - see taxman beat me to it.
alchresearch
I think those who have accounts in these bailed out banks should get more shares though.
Longcol
I think those who have accounts in these bailed out banks should get more shares though. Any particular reason? Haven't all taxpayers contributed to the bailout?
