I know a few dads who're at Glastonbury, with their kids incidentally, and they'll be anything but supportive if this bunch of nutters manage to involve them and their children in "bedlam". I don't think it's 'bizarre' at all. Please re read my posts, I never said anything about 'bedlam'. Good luck to the dads that have rights to their children and enjoy the festival - what about the unlucky souls who cannot bring their offspring and enjoy, all because of corrupt laws? No they aren't and besides Glastonbury isn't "most rock concerts" its a family event, if it was a "situation of noisy uproar and confusion" people wouldn't take their kids there.
