Bilge
La Gondola? Its just off Division Street... We went there once for a friends pre-hen do meal and it was lovely. Im really picky about how my Italian food is prepared and they were quite up to snuff. Lovely chicken and steaks and the pizzas were yummy. I went there once and thought it was OK, then at the end of the meal, without any warning, the staff started some kind of awful crooner singalong/karaoke! A terrible experience. I've never been back in case this happens every night.
Bulgarian
Cheap and cheerful I'd describe Mama's and Leonies. Agree, they don't have a very varied menu but what they do is nice, the garlic bread is awesome.
