New-York-based singer and guitarist, Will Scott blends soulful Americana and hill country blues, delivered with a voice that The New York Press describes as “thick as blood.” Scott’s live performances are known as some of the best in the industry (Twisted South) and Americana UK hails him “one of the most impressive new acts of his kind to come along in quite some time.” His 2009 release, Gnawbone, continues to receive praise in the US and Europe and was a finalist for “Best Blues Album” at the Independent Music Awards. Q magazine says: "Few people manage to make the blues modern. Will Scott is one of them."

Will is presently touring in support of a new recording, Keystone Crossing and brings his energetic live performance to The Greystones on Sunday 26th June, shortly after his return to Glastonbury and a debut at Maverick Festival. Scott’s live performances have captivated crowds all over the US and overseas. “There is something in his voice,” as one fan puts it, “and the way he pulls at those strings and stomps on stage that makes even his straightest of country ballads feel like the greatest of blues songs.”

“A true Americana album with all of the early sounds of country, folk, rock and roll… Scott does it his way.” – Folkwax

“Will set hellhounds on your trail,” - Q Magazine (****)

“Soul and passion that drives a song home. His vocal presence is astounding” – Americana Roots

“Keystone Crossing should keep him in the spotlight. It’s mix of country, blues and soul is uplifting, though often measured and intensely expressive, the depth of his voice providing plenty of shade to songs that drip emotional resonance. - Leicester Bangs

"Will Scott is an eclectic master of all things Americana. Keystone Crossing is the best thing he's done, and it's one of the best albums that's come over the transom here this year." - Lucid Culture

Support is from David Gibb and The Pony Club, also appearing at Glastonbury this weekend. Should be a great night.
