manofstrad
is she a hairdresser ? No, but she bought it of a hairdresser friend who is in a bit of financial bother. My wife hates the car but is going to keep it until her friend gets back on her feet again, then sell it back to her for a small profit. That's what friends are for. Cyclone
A three hour drive is probably less then 200 miles which works out at £35 of fuel each way. We have a 2 litre diesel which does 50 to gallon so 4 gallons of fuel. That makes it £8.75 a gallon by your reckoning. What kind of car have you got?:hihi: I got 28.9 mpg today, Bristol and back 360 miles, you do the maths. Also an average speed of 70.1mph and a highest temp of 29.5C. I also have sunburnt arms. I make it £75 btw.
