Best thing I did was getting rid of the car. No longer am I burdened with bills and expensive running costs. I now use my bike and cycle most of my short/medium journeys. If I need a car for going that bit further, I hire one. Works out a hell of a lot cheaper.

Not that I was preaching anything, but no, 2 cars in a household where there are two adults who work in different cities is practical.

Buying a large 4*4 and saying screw you lot I don't care is just selfish.

 

Had 4x4's for the last 30 years, never give a thought for the planet or other peoples problems with them

Clearly the statement isn't true, what she means is she's given a thought for the planet and other peoples problems with these vehicles and decided to do what she likes anyway, after all she won't have to deal with the consequences.
