There is a lot about this on the net. That potential use would of course divert money away from the pharmaceutical companies, who are already doing there best through lobbying to get rid of any form of medication (including vitamins) that is not produced by them. The fact that a few pot heads want to claim it has a religious use pales into insignificance when compared to the potential effects upon very big companies that contribute a lot to political party funds.
