The BBC Breakfast TV article this morning did indeed imply that it was tonight at 7.30pm when in fact it was last Friday evening at The Greystones, and was a warm up gig for his Glastonbury appearance.

Quote from Richard Hawley on his forum:

"Well the gig is specifically being played as a warm up show for Glastonbury, so we might play some of the new stuff but mainly it will centre around his more well known stuff just so you're aware".

Anyone else think the article portrayed Sheffield rather poorly by using the stereotypical northern town/city run-down angle that London based TV seems to do far too often :suspect:

Duane Eddy was on radio 4's front row last night and on the Today programme this morning.

Richard Hawley had brought him up to Sheffield to see his studio, and had then taken him round the Peak district.

He was completely bowled over by the Derbyshire countryside.

He'd been to Monsal Head, which he called a canyon, and said he was inspired to bring out a new album, his first for 25 years.
