Shef_Fitness Posted July 2, 2011 Share Posted July 2, 2011 I will confirm the start times next week, but am looking at a venue on Monday and will be looking at running Judo sessions for children in Chapeltown. The sessions will be split into two age groups 5 - 7/8 year olds This age group will learn the very basics of Judo (mainly groundwork), and we will also be doing fun activities such as bulldog, team races to develop confidence and fitness. 8 upwards This group will be introduced to throwing techniques as well as groundwork This group will be doing other fitness work to develop the cardio needed, as well as races & games. The aim of both sessions is for the children to develop confidence, to enjoy the training and introduce the very basics of Judo, breaking opponents balance, technique and for the children run off there energy during the session Sessions taken by instructor with 30 years experience in Judo. I'm aiming for the sessions to run on Monday mornings through the summer holidays, and then to revert to Saturday Mornings when everyone goes back to school Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
