"The Trailer for a hard-hitting emotionally charged 48 min documentary by Bill Maloney (Award winning independent film director) whos family were all brought up in the UK care system). It covers Maloneys visit and interpretation of Jersey, Channel Islands, following the child abuse investigations of the childrens care home Haut de la Garenne. The documentary contains strong language and strong opinions. Due to his and his familys experiences of Establishment care homes Maloney felt compelled to see first hand the response of Islanders to the alleged abuse claims and their general feeling for the Governing States. A mixed response of silence, anger and insensitively is catalogued from this island of geographical beauty with an ugly underbelly." "This video clip is an un-edited interview by ITV London News with Bill Maloney at the 2010 UK Rally Against Child Abuse in Trafalgar Square. This interview was not broadcast by ITV in its entirety, however a small section was broadcast by the ITV London News on the day of the event." He points out two small "statues" on the wall at the front of this home and clearly seen from the road. One child is, or appears to be masturbating the other is...Well,see for yourself. Both of these figures have children's hats placed on them, when Bill returns another day one which was previously wearing a boys baseball cap is now wearing a "wig" with two long pig tales.(around 3 mins in) It is stated in the trailer (I think made in 2008 ) That Jersey (owned by the Crown) has no child sex offenders register. Children were tortured and possibly killed at the home on Jersey,the investigation into it became just another White wash. Some of you may view the above as somekind of holiday promotion. Right minded people though will want to find out the truth and support this very brave campaigner ' Bill Maloney' in his quest to fight institutional abuse of children(of which he is also a victim) My latest hero.
