British jobs for German workers! Wednesday1 you should educate yourself and watch episode 3 of Made in Britain presented by Evan Davies which was on BBC2 yesterday. What happened with the decline of UK manufacturing and the growth of the service sector was inevitable, and much as I'm sure you'd disagree because it leaves you with nobody to blame, politicians including Thatcher had little influence to exert control over an emerging global economy, like a rabbit trying to control a tiger.
