Sierra Posted July 6, 2011 Share Posted July 6, 2011 Well I should imagine the fifth amendment silence helped her out a lot. Yes and no. Some people take silence as an admission of guilt. And some defense attorneys feel it's safer to have their client say nothing, than to start blabbing and tell a story the prosecution could possibly poke holes in.
