callippo
"The anniversary is also a reminder that it's now 6 years since the last successful terrorist attack in the UK." I've added a word to add some context. Just because no more bombs have exploded, does not mean the threat is no longer there. 10th anniversary of New York's 9/11 is coming up soon. Just because nobody has managed to pull off anything like it since then, doesn't mean that nobody has tried. And - mercifully - failed.
andygardener
My thoughts are with those left behind as well as the direct victims who lost their lives because of the evil in the hearts of the perps. A time to remember both that our moderate muslim friends are chums, colleagues and countrymen and that our young men are risking their lives on a daily basis in many theatres to eliminate the pre-eminent threat to humanity - the Islamic extremist. upinwath
The only bright side of those attacks was the deaths of the idiots that carried them out. It would have been far better if they'd just jumped off the back of a ship rather than murder a bunch of innocent people when they killed themselves. May the daft sods rot in hell and RIP to the innocent victims of their stupidity.
