"Andrew Bird’s Village Fete"

Hot off his world village tour, (well, Northamptonshire) stand-up comedian, Andrew Bird, brings the day to day happenings of a small village, to a wider audience. Village life, where the local news isn’t all about ‘the big stories’, just the ridiculous little ones. Fun for all, and there might even be a raffle.

“The most I’ve laughed at the Fringe so far.” (Edinburgh Festivals Magazine)

“A great storyteller, there is far more to him than first meets the eye. Funny, likeable and effortless.” (Time Out)

“A charming hour of anecdotal stand-up, Bird simply proves cracking company.” (Chortle)

“Funny as hell” Rhod Gilbert

“A natural comedian” The Stage

John Scott – Totally Made Up

John a Last Laugh favourite returns after his sell out 2010 Grin Up North show “Mr Clean”. He previews his new show, “Totally Made Up.” which he is taking to the Edinburgh Festival. Winner of 2010 Scottish Comedian of the Year, John is steadily rising through the circuit to become one of the most sought after acts.

“Confidently told hilarious tales of class-based woe. Nothing missed the mark in a superb set where every story was expertly crafted before being subverted with a killer punch line. After practicing comedy for five arduous years, expect to see his name somewhere big very soon.” – The List

John Scott is an excellent comic and this is without doubt the first step on the road to a long and successful career in comedy.” – The Sun

“A diamond in the rough” - The List.

“Among the top five new comedians emerging from Scotland today” - The Observer.

“A grungy mix of Billy Connelly and Arragorn. Never hits a dry patch, always plays a blinder. People were in tears of laughter” - Edinburgh Evening News

‘It’s easy to see why Scott won the Take The Mic competition; he’s a talented and likeable act.’ – Giggle Beats
