Iuchi_Zien
It's the crash helmet. It makes you invisible to car drivers. It even works when you are walking! Try it sometime.
llamatron
Except for when you get those vindictive drivers ahead of you that position themselves close up the kurb on purpose so that you can't pass them I consider that a challenge....one I generally win! Doingalright
Good point, that's just reminded me, whatever happened to those semaphore type plastic sticks that cyclists used to have, not seen one in ages. What was their proper name ? What was wrong with Dostoevsky ??? As long you know what you're on about thats all that matters.
Treatment
As long you know what you're on about thats all that matters. The first one was a spacer that stuck out from the bike to make motorists aware, the second was destined for the Stocksbridge thread, but I was all fingers and thumbs. chorba
It amazes me even more than when i'm in the car at how oblivious other drivers are to you. Yesterday for example, i'm cycling along a road at speed, woman to my left at a side road in a big 4*4 decides to try and pull straight accross my path to turn right. Worst thing was she looked straight at me first!! Ive only been biking for 5 days and already have seen so many dangerous things by car drivers just to get past me. I used to be anti-cycle but this has really opened my eyes. Anyone who has the ability to, ride to work for a week and you will appreciate what your driving and what damage it can do 10 times more. When I'm in a car I hate pedestrians and cyclists. When I'm walking I hate cyclists and cars. When I'm cycling I hate pedestrians and cars. Yes. I have a lot of hate inside my soul and I need to somehow take it out.
