Caitlin_E
We've been with them for years! But only just started having big problems. Fed up of there customer service aswell. Swapping to virgin would double our speed :S Does anyone know why some providors can provide faster speeds than others? Like AOL and Virgin would be using same phone line so how can virgin provide a much faster service?
Aries22
Go to BT l know its a bit dearer, but they put their customers first, as all the others still have to go through BT and they get second place.
denlin
Can't be any worse than Tiscali. Made mistake of switching to them against better advice of a colleague and six weeks later still wasn't connected so went back to BT but getting them to cancel wasn't easy and one of their "customer services" staff told me they were trained to deal with people like me,

If it's down to the same phone line, then it depends on the exchange, and what equipment they use... it also depends on which policy they set you on at the exchange... and as for leaving, since it seems like you're going for the Virgin regional service (Down you'r phone line) you can call up AOL, and ask for your MAC and they have legally got to provide it within 48 hours of requesting... then give this to Virgin, and they will deal with the rest from there...
