Badlittlepup
what about discrimination against mental illness ? That's discrimination. But I kind of know where you are coming from, it drives me bonkers when you get people who are at work or something and just because they don't gel with someone and they're not their cup of tea they decide that gives them carte blanche to treat them like dirt and try to destroy their lives. It's horrible. Just as an example that nanny who worked for Jacqui Gold and poisoned her food to try and get the chef in trouble. It's horrible but unfortunately not discrimination, maybe bullying perhaps.
gnvqsos
It's associated with the word 'discrimination'. To discriminate is not itself wrong. When selecting goods in a shop, or preferring one maker's to another's, one discriminates. When one chooses a person with whom to marry or cohabit, one discriminates BUT When one disadvantages a person against another person on irrelevant grounds, one unfairly discriminates. That's "prejudice". Spot on-its the choice of specious grounds which makes it unacceptable.
