david weston
Anyone remember the green, Trojan tea van with the Desert Rat logo which stood at the Derwent Dam wall at weekends, late 50's, early 60's ? I think it was run by a couple from Hope village called Astley. Always service with a smile and a welcome cuppa after bike riding there. That was in the tranquil days before the place was ruined by un-necessary signposting and tourism promotion.
