Blondie73
I came across this forum by accident and I'm not a local by any means.I'm a Lancashire lass now,but originally born and bred Mancunian. Some of the the threads made me laugh and now I pop in from time to time to catch up. If not from Sheffield like me,where are you from?

bensonhedges
I'm from Grantham in Lincolnshire but lived here longer now than I lived there - wouldn't be anywhere else now.
Rupert_Baehr
I spent many Wednesday afternoons (when I weer a youf) climbing Stanage Edge. My son lives in Sheffield (as, of course do my grand-children.) 'The Hammer House of Horrors' was fiction ... but the ladies from "Able Mabel's" College were fact. And they were gorgeous, too. (I have to say that, because I already have my second incisors and I can't afford implants.)
medusa
I'm in Sheffield now (and have been for over 20 years) but my accent is still more Black Country than Yorkshire, and the damned thing just won't let me lose it, no matter how hard I try. upinwath
Smithers, "release the hounds". Yuk - a red rose job. OK, Go on then, wander in and join us. (But only because I'm a fluffy bunny) What was the question? I'm from just north of Sheff but live in Jakarta.
