Number Six
Makes a change from all the '17 year old ..' threads! I was always told it got cheaper as you got older. That turned out to be wrong. It's renewal time for the family bus (10 year old Multipla) The best I can do for two drivers with 12 and 7 years no claims and not a penalty point between them is north of £400. I'd rather it started with a 3, like last year. As that's my renewal quote of my existing insurer, I've shopped around, and can't find anyone who is less than about £600. The odd one that's in the 500's have an excess that's half the value of the car. So, any recommendations of someone else to try? Any companies you know of doing deals at the moment? Feeling a little robbed by the insurance companies and all the people with "whiplash" at the moment!
mike-s
The cheapest ones I found this year were Swinton & Hastings, might be worth a try. Try Go Compare as well, sites like that do all the work for you.

Number Six
I've insured a Galaxy for £200 this year....Aviva I think.. £670 from Aviva. That's two adults, with 29 years no claims between them, use of another car etc. etc. £670. And that's with a random '20% discount' applied to try and make it sound like a good deal. Magilla
Try Go Compare as well, sites like that do all the work for you. They've never managed to beat any quote I've got from phoning around. You also expose yourself to a massive increase in spam and cold callers. Experiences may differ of course.

Hastings have menu charging to change vehicle, add or deduct a driver, report a conviction, make a claim, I even think that they have a renewal charge.
