RussS20
Is it me or does anyone else think that car insurance for young drivers is a complete and utter joke how can you justify 5k for a 1.0 cc even on a mini last year we were quoted £1300 now its £3300 the annoying part is we all just except what's happening, in today's climate how are the young ones going to get on who at 18 has 5k i feel we will see a huge rise in uninsured drivers, you can see this happening already from insurance company's as they are now advertising the fact they can cover you for this :rant::rant:

Grandad.Malky
Don’t blame the insurance companies blame all the frivolous claims, there are too many no win no fee ambulance chasers about ………. We all end up paying for them, remember that next time someone is boasting about how much they got for their whiplash claim.

Eater Sundae
Well clearly if the insurance companies are overcharging and making an obscene profit out of young drivers, there is a market for someone to come in and undercut them by providing insurance at a more realistic price. Grandad.Malky
There as just been a article on the news about it and apparently the UK hot spot is a post code in Bradford, a mum said her son had been quoted £18,000 for insurance.

According to the latest figures from the Financial Services Authority, motor insurers are paying out £1.20 in claim settlements for every £1 they collect from drivers.
