Yiderlier Posted July 17, 2011 Share Posted July 17, 2011 Hi all, Since I had my GT Agressor (modded) stolen last year I have not been riding at all and its got to the point that its upsetting me! I need to go down big hills on my bike - for this to occur I need a bike.. I have a budget of £500ish. I have always fancied a Carrera Fury, good spec for the price, but what do people think? I also have the offer of the cycletowork scheme but have been looking and don't really know what bike I could get, I do like Specialized but still unsure. HELP?? neeeeeeeeeek Posted July 18, 2011 Share Posted July 18, 2011 Boardman do a great full sus bike for a grand, the cycle to work scheme seems to want your bike to come from Halfords (it did for my friend anyway) and with the tax savings it's a good deal. Cheers I got a rockrider 8.1 from decathlon last year. Apparently equivalent to the carrera fury. Its a great bike for the money cost £550 i think. It's seeming to withstand a real hammering, it's ridden at trail centres and all over the peaks etc. I did, although, update the forks quite alot.
