callippo
I was 26 months old when my brother was born (May 1957) and I remember that pretty clearly. so what does that mean then. My sister doesn't remember anything, until she was over four years (50 months) old. it doesn't mean anything. It certainly doesn't mean you are in some way smarter, or have a better memory than somebody else, who doesn't remember as far back as you do as an infant. It's about selective perception, not memory. The less eventful, your childhood is, the less you will remember it. Darth Vader
Just out of interest, why is the 560k reward no longer available?
vResistance
Just out of interest, why is the 560k reward no longer available? In the article it says "a reward offered 15 years ago by a number of different people and organisations who put together the money." I assume the money was only pledged at the time, not actually given to anybody.
cgksheff
GoogelCache shows a website thats says: "Let 2012 be the year Ben is reunited with his family at last" .............. .......... £566,000 reward for information .... http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:aqoraVo6qRUJ:www.helpfindben.co.uk/reward.html+&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=uk It is a snapshot of the page as it appeared on 16 May 2012 10:32:16 GMT Take it easy with the pitchforks. My feeling is that the "contact" is bogus. But just think if there was someone out there that knew ... and giving info may put themselves in danger. They saw the website, made contact and the first response was to try and negotiate the cash down? I would have increased the offer, linked to a successful outcome. That raises a lot of questions. Well one really, does this money exist or not?
Bypassblade
Old thread but story is still relevant, Ben Needham disappearance: I could not see point of starting a new thread. Police to search land on Kos. They are suspecting that he may have had an accident on waste ground next to where staying, this is now overgrown going to use infra red & dogs trained to find remains. It must be awful what she's had to endue these last 21 years. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-19987432

alchresearch
I was thinking more police incompetence. Look at the recent Tia Sharp story. And weren't there reports of police bungling with Madeline McCann?
