Just watching live coverage of James & Rupert Murdoch giving evidence to the Culture Select Committee, the most compelling TV I've ever seen.

 

Murdoch Snr playing the benign, slightly confused old man whilst his waspish, almost camp son fields the balls coming from left field on his behalf. It's hard to imagine these are two of the richest and most influential men in the world as they keep trying to deflect the intense questioning by wringing their hands and make personal statements of their 'regret'.

 

Murdoch Snr interrupted his son's evidence in order to state this was the most humbling days of his life...I think that was likely the day the BSkyB takeover was deferred and the share price plummeted.
