There is a section of that site which helps people track down books they can't remember the titles of from simply a description so it might be worth posting your poems there. My other suggestion would be to try the magazine This England; people are always asking such queries in there and given its readership of patriotic pensioners, they can usually come up with the answer. My Nana always used to say the same little poem and like you I've forgotten how it goes, and as my Nana passed away earlier this year it would be lovely to find out more about it.
