truman
ANPR cameras and thumbprint payment systems? Our company runs about 25 cars and anyone employed by it can drive any one of the cars...could get a bit complicated...
boyfriday
Our company runs about 25 cars and anyone employed by it can drive any one of the cars...could get a bit complicated... ..but it probably wouldn't work for a family where the parents have a Porsche 911...and a newly qualified 17 year old son
RootsBooster
How about reverse-hypnotherapy? Hypnotise the offender to have a phobia of driving
theripsaw
Someone I knew got 6 points and a £600 fine for no insurance. He pleaded poverty and got it reduced to £150! It seems wrong that the fine for no TV licence is generally higher! There should be a standard minimum - high enough to be a penalty and deter offenders - say £2000, and the offenders car is impounded until the debt is paid- whether by installments or a lump sum. If the car doesnt belong to them it's still impounded as somebody let them drive it uninsured (unless it was nicked). If the owner claims they didnt know it was being driven, then essentially it was nicked and the offender has to cop a TWOC charge in addition. Bloomdido
Couldn't offenders be 'chipped' with an immobiliser?
RootsBooster
Tamper-proof ski boots should be fitted to the feet of all offenders, let's see em try and drive like that!
