gnvqsos
As a kid, the first film I saw at the cinema was "Summer Holiday"....mum took me. As a teenager "Kes" ...'cause it was filmed locally. But the best down to earth film, so to speak, is "Spring and Pork Wine". Tells the story of life in Bolton in the late 60's. Filmed in 1970. They don't make'em like that anymore. They dont make them like Susan George anymore-was nt that father,Albert Finney ,cruel?

pamala123
What film made a big impression on you as a kid ? I remember my gran taking me to see the first Bond Film DR NO in the early sixties. She thought she was going to see a medical drama - I had never seen anything like it before. I remember going to school on the Monday and telling my mates about it. I think it was at the old GAUMONT in Barkers Pool - fantastic Grease was the one and porkys
