Blackbeard
For me it has to be The Red Balloon, I found a copy in the States a few years ago and relived my childhood. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Red_Balloon

louan
Dad took us all to see Genevieve. Afterwards we all had to stand while the National Anthem was played. Later, as a teenager, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning.

FATBLOBBY
Convoy. It was the only video we had for our massive top loader video recorder. I would sit as far away from the video recorder as the remote control cable would allow and watch it over and over Rubber Duck:::::::smooth on the outside and paddling like hell underneath

Grappler
I think the first film I saw was "The Love Bug", which was a Disney film about a VW Beetle with a mind of its own. The films I remember most about growing up were James Bond films, because the Gaumont in Barkers pool always showed a double bill of them in school holidays. Me and my mates always went, and to us young working class lads from Gleadless Valley, all the exotic international locations looked breathtaking and a world away from our annual week in Skegness!
