Myself and a colleague will be attempting to climb the equivelant of Mount Everest, on a mobile climbing wall, in Barkers Pool in Spetember. We have kindly been loaned two 6m x 3m gazebos but that council require that these are weighted down. We need 25kg per leg, 6 legs per gazebo. sophiec1979 Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 i was going to suggest sandbags or even bottles of water....those aer heafty weights that you need! im assuming (and i may be wrong!) that you will have had to get permission or a licence or some sort of paper work from the council? if so, have you considered approaching sheffield markets to see if they can loan/hire you anything to help? x Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jimmy62alan Posted July 21, 2011 Share Posted July 21, 2011 if you go to any garage that maitains cars, and ask them for any scrap disc or drum brakes for the use for a charity event I think most companies will give you more than you need.
