ampersand Posted September 30, 2011 Share Posted September 30, 2011 I was born on the 57th day of the year - my dad wanted to call me Heinz According to good old wikipedia, no-one else of any significance was born on the same day as me, but on the same date in other years we saw the birth of, amongst others, Good King Wenceslas (reputedly), Buffalo Bill, Fanny Craddock (I'm glad my dad didn't know that at the time I was born!), Fats Domino, Johnny Cash, the previous Prime Minister of New Zealand, the current Prime Minister of Turkey, and Corrinne Bailey Rae to name just a few It's also the anniversary of the bombing of the World Trade Centre and the collapse of Barings Bank due to the rogue trades of Nick Leeson Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
