Norway Attacks Kill 91 People.

the fact that these groups dont have facebook pages doesn't mean they don't exist

Lol- that is probably why I can't find them. And I though if it wasn't on FB- it didn't exist.

Has anyone tried his Wikipedia page? He has one already! Yikes.

Anything that hints at violence?

It is not yet clear (it may never be) whether his attack is actually connected to his apparent right-wing beliefs, or just an act of random insanity. Even if the pages he was visiting had detailed instructions on how to commit massacres, it may be that he only visited them in order to read the instructions and doesn't actually share the goals of the website owners.

It doesn't take that much skill or money to make a bomb, and we have no idea of the background or wealth of the suspect.

A bomb that powerful first time?

No website at all? No warnings or threats? No build up?

He could be ex military. Most infantry can make IED's.

If this was just a shooting lone nutter would make more sense.

What is extreme right wing in Norway? Someone who would vote for thatcher? Or BNP?

What extreme right wing groups exist that have even hinted at taking such action? I cannot find any. Can you? Individuals can make such bombs but it takes skill and money.

What groups was this man linked to? Have any of these groups even hinted at such violence?

There was a recent book by Dr Daniele Ganser that looked at a massive operation that NATO undertook in the post-war period in Europe which essentially armed and trained small right-wing groups so that they could assist them by setting up resistance movements should the Soviet communists invade.

The groups were supposed to have been stood down when the communist threat no longer existed, but Ganser believes that they continued to train secretly, continued to maintain their loose European network and kept arms caches. Ganser also argues that these right-wing groups were responsible for a spate of terrorism in the 1980's and 90's across Europe. He links the bombings at an Italian bank, at the Munich Oktoberfest and a mass shooting in a Belgian supermarket to these right wing groups. He believed it was aimed at terrorising the people into removing the liberal left wing governments that were in power in those countries at the time. In Spain the right wing group was used to prop up the fascist dictatorship of Franco.

Each country gave a different name to the groups- they were known as Gladio in Italy, Absalon in Denmark, P26 in Switzerland, SDRA8 in Belgium and ROC in Norway.

This latest attack in Norway seems to have been too well organised for this man to have accomplished it completely alone and may well represent a new rise in activity within these groups.

Possible but to be totally off radar, with no build up. ..

There were no warnings ahead of the Munich, Milan or Belgian attacks either. European intelligence has focussed predominantly upon the Islamic threat and they may well have missed these home grown groups because of that.

Off topic-

I'm watching sky news and the Youth group leader is holding a press conference.

He left the Island when the shooting started. He FLED and left those poor kids to fend for themselves.

What could he have done against a murderous gun man full of intent, apart from getting himself killed?
