trailertrash
Has anybody been to the jam sessions at The Sportsman at Walkley. What sort of instruments to people play and is there a drum kit etc.
Halibut
There's a full drumkit, guitars to borrow- or bring your own, not usually a keyboard around but I'm sure the good people there would wire one up to the P.A. if you asked them nicely. It's usually a sound evening and the regulars are really friendly. Get down!

Halibut
Absolutely anything you like, but tending towards indie/ rock scheme of things....occasional bits of classic rock , the odd beatles number, it's all there for the taking...
Sheffair1
Guitars, drums, bass, 2x vocal mics. There is a lead guitar amp if you wish to bring your own lead guitar. Its a good, relaxed atmosphere, student friendly and to top it all, a nice pint. Tuesdays 8pm - 11pm, Sundays 4pm - 11pm (i think its open to kids as well, but please check first)

The place seems to be frequented by an abundance of "nutty nurses" though.... have you seen any of those Marylou ??
marylou
I havent encountered any "nutty" nurses yet. Just the blond organiser who just cant stop dancing. He reminds me a bit of Richard Clayderman. Talented and a real moover!!!!!!!!!!
