I went in last tuesday and they had a quiz, and offered free chips to everyone - these chips were the best I've had in a loooong time! Good cheap food, and very nice inside. I agree, I had a chicken breast burger in the Prior John in Bridlington on Sunday, to be honest, if you'd have blindfolded me I couldn't have told you what I'd just eaten ... absolutely tasteless rubbish! Currently doing 3 courses for £10, went yesturday and had breaded mushrooms then chicken breast then gypsy tart and ice-cream and it was delicious! It's more Loxley than MB, I'd say it's in Stannington but some postcode snobs reckon Stannington doesn't start till after the sign outside the Sportsman I'd definitely recommend the Rawson Spring in Hillsborough, the Blue Bowl's not bad either.
