skinz
If you're going to pick a name, might as well choose one that has a chance of some decent traffic. If you want the word gift or gifts, people currently tend to search using phrases like, "gift ideas" "gifts for men" "birthday gifts" "christmas gifts" "valentines gifts" "wedding gifts" "gift ideas for her" "birthday gift ideas" "anniversary gifts" "baby gifts" "21st birthday gifts" "fathers day gifts" "mothers day gifts" "gifts for girlfriend" "personalised gifts" etc so when it comes to gifts, people focus on the event or person rather than an actual product. If you are fixed on appearing cheap, just use any of the discount bargain type words mixed in. At least on your gift site you will know to categorise by event and age which is reflected in a similar way to how sites like moonpig arrange their categories. Just found a good example to highlight my quick research above. http://www.iwantoneofthose.com/ They use a catchy domain name for gift/product store branding but as you hover over the gift navigation at the top you will see how they categorise and use some of the keywords I listed. Also look at the footer of their main page, they are using. Gift Ideas Mothers Day Gifts Fathers Day Gifts Birthday Gifts Gifts for Men Gifts for Her Gifts for Kids Christmas Gifts Valentines Gifts Easter Gifts You really are up for that bottle aren't you? Sarkysod
http://www.itwantedme.co.uk as in I did not want the gift, it wanted me. I will admit it's a slight (a lot) rip off from a current radio ad. But the domain is still available.

Tenants
Some domains names that are available (I've just checked): giftideal.co.uk bobsgoods.co.uk giftsandgoods.co.uk buysonline.co.uk giftdeals.net <piece of friendly advice, keep the name short and easy to remember, if you can get searchable related key phases / keywords in the URL its worth it .... Once you've got your domain name, keep it for good.. don't keep changing it> I like giftdeals.net (its short and contains 2 keywords that are useful to your SEO : http://www.lcn.com/whois/search?s=giftdeals.net&commit= )
