Sierra Posted August 6, 2011 Share Posted August 6, 2011 you should watch the simpsons episode "bart to the future" where the usa is bankrupt your post reminded me of it so much lol bart telling china etc that the cheques in the post and "we cool" You know, I never used to watch The Simpsons when Bart and Lisa were supposedly 'older', so I've never seen that episode. The whole 'we're cool" is what people here in California say, sort of a version of the "no hard feelings' thing. Like, "gee, you're not still mad, are ya?!" (Even though the other person probably still has every reason to be royally peed off) It's a way of smoothing over and minimizing an atrocious wrong.
