jes88
Hi guys, i have a seat ibiza 2001 petrol 1.4 and the red light with the circle and exclamation mark started flashing and beeping at me earlier whilst i was driving, and from trying to figure it out in the manual i came to the conclusion that it must be the brake fluid... but im not sure as the manual is rubbish! but could someone tell me which brake fluid i would need for my car? i cant even find one on google! thanks Jess Xoxoxox:huh:

Obelix
Unless you can find a leak, don't assume you are low on fluid. You could equally well be low on brake pad as that will cause the fluid level to drop as well - you need to check that the pads are not worn out first. GrannyGranny
Maybe like the pads are getting low. Nothing to worry about ATM but may be an idea for someone (Dad/boyfriend/friend) to have a look just to check.
crookesey
Halfords are very good. Their staff are knowledgeable and will look it up for you. I agree, they simply get the book out and find the right one.
BigAl#13
There is nothing special about brake fluid. There are two types. DOT4 - All common road cars use this DOT5.1 - High performance cars use this. Yours will require DOT4.
