Mecky
TV airbrush adverts have been banned because they are considered misleading. It seems a strange decision since the Lynx adverts, which appear to claim an increase sexual attractiveness to the opposite sex have been allowed to run. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-14304802
Jessica23
Um. Two magazine adverts have been banned, because the company concerned could not or would not provide sufficient evidence to the regulator to prove that the claims made in the advert were not misleading. A rather more detailed story here. Seems a great decision to me. Cosmetics advertising is right up there on my list of stupid-things-that-irk-immensely.
