pigiron
A very simple remedy. Sprinkle talcum powder around the places they appear to be getting in. I have been told it sticks to their legs which they do not like. True or false I dunno but it works like a charm and costs next to nothing. Spikie
Bait stations and keep your kitchen clean, should do the trick. If you spot the queen catch her and I'll take her off your hands (plus without a queen the colony would be doomed)

Alcoblog
Don't forget the old adage: Flying ants come but once a year, Bringing annoyance and bad cheer Normally in Aug or Sept Is where this misery is kept Unless the year ends in eleven I fear. (old mother's tale I know ... pretty accurate though!)
