KATIEB_23
I currently live in Grenoside, but have always fancied moving to Millhouses...If you could choose a different location to live reside in Sheffield....which one would it be....??? My reason for moving to Millhouses.....I simply like the area, the Houses seems bigger than where I currently live and I love the Park. Simples.... Spooky! When I read the thread title, the first think I thought of was "near Millhouses Park"! Probably because whenever we drive there to walk the dog, there's such a lovely atmosphere... and some lovely restaurant nearby... and a good vets etc. But I don't think I could cope with having to travel along Abbeydale Road every day to & from work... aargh! Its always crawling along, and takes so long. It's a bit too far to walk into the City Centre too. For that reason I would like to revise my answer to around the Endcliffe Park area. Near the hustle-bustle of fun Eccy Road stuff... but some of those houses away from the student roads have absolutely BEAUTIFUL houses then you could choose to be in-the-thick-of-it nightlife-wise, or walk out towards Bingham Park & Forge Dam on a lovely day. Now where was that lottery ticket...

r-andom1
i live in Dore and work in the City Centre. Its a great area but pain getting to work. And its a bit out the way. It depends what you are looking for. I would choose Ecclesall Road for the night life. Millhouses as a family place.
Rich
I'd move back to lower Walkley any day, or even better, move back to Stannington! S6 FTW!

Rich
Not Dore then Rich? Nope, not Dore, Eccleshall, Totley or Whirlow, too full of snobs, I wouldn't live in Fulwood either, same reason.
iphonelover
I LOVE where i live now. Wadsley park village. Full of history, old grade 2 buildings juxtaposed against new. Lovely park and mini football pitch which dont get ruined. Little forrest areas. Near shops of hillsborough but feels like a million miles away. Only other nice place i liked was round graves park area. That was very nice.
bluefish
Fulwood I think, a nice village feel close to the hills. I live in Gleadless and long to move away ; )
Plain Talker
I'd stay in the vicinity of Psalter Lane, which is where I am now. I really like where I am.
