Happ Hazzard
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-14340470 Crazy stuff. Amazing how many people are obsessed with Apple technology and will pay over the odds for it.

mapleboy
Hmmm quisquose, now there's a thought. I've got £30 in my pocket, which US state should I buy? Come on SFers, your advice please, which one would you buy? (and obviously with £30 I could buy Rotherham several times over )

Smithster
I've never bought anything from Apple and I never will. The most over-priced rubbish on the market IMO, but people seem to be obsessed with their products because they are seen as some kind of essential fashion accessory. Karis
The world went NUTS for the extremely rubbish Wii, technology which was years old and still priced just slightly under the other consoles (which were newer technology). They were selling Wiis and people were willing to pay anything for them - for ancient technology. No wonder Apple are so rich. People will buy anything. I don't even particularly rate Apple products. The iPod is OK, but it's not any great stretch in terms of useful technology OR quality.
