Fake cutlery marked 'Sheffield'

I can believe cheap we started out very poor i seem to think she got them off the Leicester market but still lasted 55 yrs not to shabby:D:D second ? where would sheffield import from in 58ish??

 

I was talking about my experience from 1960 to 2009 but I think that blades were being imported from Japan in the late fifties, I may be wrong but eventually the blades were just pressed out of a roll of stainless steel by manufacturers but in the late seventies in was cheaper to import the blades aready finished, polished, sharpened or serrated and just haft them.
