you can make a formal complaint about a PRS provider by:

completing the online form on its website – http://www.phonepayplus.org.uk

calling its freephone helpline - 0800 500 212 (open 09.00 – 17.00 Monday – Friday)

writing to PhonepayPlus at Freepost, WC5468, London SE1 2BR

texting through our textlink on 020 7407 3430.

That is just the information that I have been seeking. I shall ring the free phone number on Monday without fail!

Thanks!

I have now used the link that you provided to check the number that phoned me. It said that premium rate numbers are 11 digits long and begin with 09, the number that called me began with 09 but was 13 digits. Now I am confused.

If I provide someone with a gun and bullets to shoot someone, I am just as much scum as the person who pulls the trigger.

perhaps, but this wasn't a gun or bullets but a phone line

they aren't responsible for what people do with those lines.
