Peas Maker Posted July 31, 2011 Share Posted July 31, 2011 I just come across a packet of biscuits which had a big white sticky label on it with the following on it , basically a warning " colour (E102) May have a adverse effect on activity and attention on children . Best before : 22/12/2011 " Can you please tell me why are we adding this to our food if even the producer of the food is warning the consumer ,?? E102 is Tartrazine and has been known for some time to have an adverse effect on those sensitive to it. Ahh thanks , makes more sense now, producer instead of changing the packaging just added a sticker which included the info .
