SAM HARLAND

After surviving two rehabs, various detention centres and a childhood on the streets of Hull, Sam draws on his wealth of experience to bring you a humorously cynical (yet optimistic) slant on life.

Sharp witted and charismatic, Sam has been performing stand-up since 2006 – a real audience pleaser.

“Sam is an exciting talent with a big personality – an east coast equivalent of Peter Kay”

- Agraman, Buzz Comedy 2008

“Sam delivers his material like a pro” – “his timing and emphasis is note perfect” - Chortle 2008

KEITH CARTER AS NIGE

Failed singer/musician and doomed to a life of temping, Keith Carter is now a professional character comedian, actor and writer.

His seventh comedy gig was as a finalist for the BBC New Comedy Awards in 2001, since then he has traveled throughout the world, supporting many top comics such as Ricky Gervais and Johnny Vegas and has won several awards including Liverpool Echo Comedian of the Year in 2003 and North West Breakthrough Comedian of the Year in 2005. Capital of Culture judge, Sir Jeremy Isaacs was quoted in the news as saying, ‘He helped Liverpool win the bid,’ after seeing Carter’s comic creation and Liverpool cult hero, ‘Nige’ perform at the cultural bid show for the judges.

‘A character comedian of rare skill.’ The Guardian

‘Surely this man will have his own show in a few years time.’ Chortle

‘Give this man a sitcom.’ Edinburgh Evening News (THEY FINALLY HAVE)

DAN NIGHTINGALEOne of British Stand-Ups hidden gems; Dan Nightingale is one of the best performers found on the comedy circuit today. Mixing brilliant observation and energetic characterisations with killer punch lines his comedy is original, playful, intelligent, exciting, sometimes ridiculous but always hilarious. He’s a natural with the crowd, bouncing off any audience interaction wonderfully, making him a much sought after host and MC. Yet he’s also an inventive writer and a great storyteller and his comedy sets, whether supporting or headlining, are a chance to see the full variety of his superb material and clever stagecraft.

And If you really push him he’ll admit to being an excellent swimmer and a near genius in the field of gourmet cheese on toast.
