mj.scuba
•the right to life •freedom from torture and degrading treatment •freedom from slavery and forced labour •the right to liberty •the right to a fair trial •the right not to be punished for something that wasn't a crime when you did it •the right to respect for private and family life •freedom of thought, conscience and religion, and freedom to express your beliefs •freedom of expression •freedom of assembly and association •the right to marry and to start a family •the right not to be discriminated against in respect of these rights and freedoms •the right to peaceful enjoyment of your property •the right to an education •the right to participate in free elections •the right not to be subjected to the death penalty Just put a tick next to the breach you feel has happened in "having to pay to keep these scumbags?" I think you need a little education as to what the Human Rights Act is. Second one (bold/underlined). His claim was rejected in 2003 (8 years ago). Because he was failed to be deported, that compromised somebody elses right to 'freedom from torture and degrading treatment' when they were sexually assaulted by this man. Obelix
He's not being allowed to stay here for his human rights - deporting him would not breach any of his human rights. He's permitted to remain here so the human rights of his *children* to have a father are not being abrogated. Of course, the Mail won't report it like that because that doesn't suit their agenda of rabble rousing, which is seems they are very good at doing. HeadingNorth
I wonder how many ticks his victim would put in the boxes He was jailed precisely because he violated his victim's rights

How would deporting him now, undo that assault?

boyfriday
The human rights act is a joke, used to hammer those who contribute and protect the scum. Nobody dare challenge it, as the PC brigade have control of the political system. Well if you believe that and it's something you disagree with there's nothing preventing you from participating or getting involved in the political system rather than moaning about it.
