le-joker
Yeah and do you remember the playground at the back and the orchard over the wall. We would look to see if the dog was about, and if it wasn`t, over the wall we`d go for the apples. And as we climbed back the little dog would come running and leap and be hanging from the seat of our pants as we got back with an apple or two, plus a few sctatches and scrapes. Kashul
Morning all and Merry Christmas ! We have recently had a lovely coffee with the ladies from the Killamarsh Heritage Society (http://www.killamarsh.org) who were former pupils of the school. It was fascinating to watch and listen to them as they walked around their former class rooms and told us stories of their time there. They have kindly allowed us to use the photos from their website for a new facebook group that we have put together, if you are on facebook please search for the group and join up. Any stories you have or photo's would be great to read and see. https://www.facebook.com/groups/endowedschoolkillamarsh/ The plan is to slowly but surely build a history of this wonderful building ! The Heritage society have recently obtained funding for a book based on the history of the village and are looking for people to get involved in varying ways, if you have a story to add to the book, are a present or ex Killamartian, please do get intouch with them. Thanks all
