As for you post, I for one say yes, it appears democracy has spoken, obviously common sense takes place, child abusers & police murders too right, they should expect capital punishment. studentbob Posted August 5, 2011 Share Posted August 5, 2011 Democracy has indeed spoken. The petition to keep the ban on the death penalty has nearly twice as many signatures than Mr Staines'. I don't think the pro-noose lot have quite understood the process. I gave up counting how many different petitions had been submitted. Rather defeats the object. Anyone that abuses a little child should pay the ultimate price. What do you mean by lesser? Surely not the death penalty. I see no need to slow things down with torture etc. Just put a bullet through every pedophiles head.
