Dress code for Napoleons Casino?

Then I stand corrected, stopped going there when G opened as the atmosphere is better, but it is still cramped or did the 1 million pound make over double it's size too, new carpets and a lick of paint soon adds up I suppose

Well the upstairs has now been changed into two quite large floors with big booths downstairs. Each one of the floors has its own bar, and downstairs still has the third one.

I've only been to G Casino once, and it was the one in Manchester, and I didn't like it at all. It was too big, and quite intimidating for someone who was just dipping their toe in the water for the first time. Also I HATED the card system they had there - whats wrong with a bit of cash?

Hi Guys

Here at G Casino we operate a smart casual dress policy where jeans are allowed as long as you look smart! Don't forget to check out our restaurant and bar, plus free live entertainment every Saturday. 'Like' our facebook page for more information (G Casino Sheffield) - link to page on our Sheffield Forum Profile.

Cheers

G Casino Sheffield

Even in my old RAF uniform I was told I looked like a sack of sh@@e. :hihi:

I am afraid you may be confusing G for Circus. G does not have a pin card system, they only use loyalty. Basically it is like Tesco, spend cash, swipe a card, collect points, and then redeem for presents or cash. But you are not forced to use it, though it does speed entry as you can 'swipe' yourself as opposed to waiting for reception.

Circus on the other hand you have to have a card with a chip to claim your money back from the cash desk.

I will also note that Sheffield G has 2 tables specifically for learn to play. These tables involve no money at all and are purely there to learn or just play for fun.

As far as dipping your toe in the water, G also has 10p minimums on its touch bet and you can play slots from 1p per press. I think the underground gangster image of thousands of pounds being thrown around can be a little far fetched. G has over 100 people in the bar alone on weekends mostly there for entertainment, drinks and food.

Funnily enough I may know a guy who can sort you some drinks vouchers if you fancy coming to have a look for yourself ;)
